[link] that is the start-sai.exe if you dont have it, or deleted it. its the start-sai.exe (or similar named) which has a green square as an icon with a play button arrow in the middle. If you have deleted it, you can download it there.
1
Download the zip folder and unzip it. Extract the whole thing to your desktop or somwhere easily accessible.
2
Move your pre-existing .conf files and your brustex, papertex, blotmaps and elemap folders to a folder somewhere safe (e.g on your desktop).
3
Replace them with the files in the zip folder. They include all pre-existing textures and such as well as the ones in my texture packs (links below). (Note do NOT move the language.conf file)
4
Restart sai with the "Start-Sai.exe" which should be the green square with the white arrow in it, instead of the Sai.exe which is what you will normally open with.
5
It will then ask if you want to associate "start-sai.exe" with the pre-existing "sai.exe" click YES. Your SAI should be sucessfully modified and you should be able to access your new textures and brushes in the corresponding drop down menu's.
Troubleshooting
If anything does go wrong you can just delete the .conf files and move the originals back into the folder. In the event something does go wrong please contact me here so i can answer your question and other people can see incase they have the same problem. Enjoy.
The JPG file contains a print-screen compilation of my own personal brushes including a really good Copic Marker Replication (best works with the tool set to multiply when shating and applied lightly.)
exactly. tried new version and old version. but it appears i just have a solution for it, there are brushes called "bar [number]em" which work as flat brushes, and bristle 1 em can work several different bristle shapes depending on the percent you use of it.
Its just additional content. Nothing should be replaced. If you're worried copy the original files and put them on your desktop. Then, if it does mess something up, you can replace them again with your original files
Well at least the brush and canvas textures are working well, thank you!
