Umm well this is what this tutorial explains? if you want to know how to draw, I suggest looking up drawing tutorials. This is just so people know their way around the program, not how to get better as an artist, as it would be rather hypocritical of me to boast that I know how to draw.
on a pony edit or vector

Okay, now I have a quick question. The SAI I use I think has all of the features of the full(I'm not sure. I got it from my girlfriend, and she paid for my copy, I believe), but I found a problem in editing the personalized keyboard shortcuts. I changed the shortcuts for the rotation and zoom buttons so I could zoom in and rotate without changing tools on the fly, but the shortcuts apparently broke. Any tips?

Have you tried resetting the shortcuts? i have all my shortcuts using the alt button, so alt 1 increases my zoom etc i dont just use a single letter or number, as it confuses me and they dont always respond. I find using alt ctrl or shift as a control for the shortcuts is best.

I actually think I figured it out...the semicolon key doesn't seem to work at all in the program, which is strange. Think somebody dropped the ball on that one...
Empty-Frames Feb 12, 2013  Hobbyist Digital Artist
oh. huh, how strange lol. I'm glad you figured it out though

A bunch of keys don't respond. Which is strange...but oh well. SAI works well enough for drawing! Good enough for me
